What to expect at your first wrinkle-relaxer appointment

New to wrinkle relaxers? Here's exactly how a first appointment tends to go, so you can walk in knowing what to expect.
1. Your Good Faith Exam
Before any treatment, you'll have a Good Faith Exam — a medical evaluation, in person or via live telemedicine, that confirms treatment is appropriate for you. It's a legal requirement in Utah and a good safety step.
2. Your treatment plan
Your injector studies your facial movement and talks through your goals — softening forehead lines, frown lines, or crow's feet — then recommends how many units and where.
3. The treatment
The injections themselves take only a few minutes. Most people find them very tolerable and return to normal activities right away.
4. Aftercare and results
Your injector will review simple aftercare. Results typically settle over a few days and last around three to four months. The goal is a natural, refreshed look — not a frozen one.
